  We begin each day by generating an infection surveillance line listing from the program.  This gives us a quick snap shot of all registered patients with suspected or confirmed infections alerting us to new admissions from the weekend or overnight.

  With the printed version of the line listing we have a valuable tool that we use to make rounds with the pertinent patient and location information.

  Some key benefits of the program to name a few are:

  • Surgical Procedures Log allows us to collect individual surgeon’s data.  A physician’s letter within the program as well as a survey report is easily generated to collect post discharge data.
